Barack and Michelle Obama's proud parent moment with daughter Sasha gets fans talking

Barack and Michelle Obama stopped by the NBA All-Stars game in Los Angeles on Sunday with their youngest daughter, Sasha Obama, for a family outing that had everyone talking.

The former president looked laid-back in a black shirt and gray trousers with a blue bomber jacket over the top, and spoke affectionately with his wife, who sported a navy zip-up jacket over navy pants and heeled black boots.

Michelle wore her braids in a half-up, half-down style and showcased her multicolored nails with a hand on Barack's leg. Their 24-year-old daughter sat in the row behind them in a gray knit top with her long hair falling down past her shoulders, and took a moment to pose for a photo with Michelle and Barack during the game. Their eldest daughter, Malia, lives in LA, yet was absent from the night out.

The former First Lady later took to Instagram to share the special family moment, writing: "My favorite teammates on and off the court." Fans of the couple rushed to the comment section to share the love, with one writing: "Always our first family," while another added: "Sasha is gorgeous…My forever first family."

"I cannot handle all the swag," said another, while a fourth chimed in: "Oh my goodness!! SASHA!!!! She is so beautiful and grown! Just seeing you guys fills my heart with pride." Michelle previously revealed on her IMO podcast that Barack found Sasha harder to parent in the White House, compared to Malia, who is three years older.

"Sasha is like a cat. She's like, 'Don't touch me, don't pet me. I'm not pleasing you. You come to me, you know? And Barack's like, 'Well, she's difficult.' I was like, no, the first one was a pleaser," she shared.

"I'd say this to Barack, when it comes to, you know, [our] oldest, Malia, she is going to figure out who you are, what do you like and let's discuss it."

"My younger daughter, she wants to learn her way," Michelle added. "She doesn't want to be told that this is how you do it. We tell her, but she's got to learn on her own."

The Obamas' appearance at the game on Sunday comes just days after Barack responded to the racist video that Donald Trump shared on social media. The clip depicted the Obamas as apes, an image which comes from the historical and racist caricature of Black people.

"It's important to recognize that the majority of the American people find this behavior deeply troubling," the 64-year-old said in an interview with Brian Tyler Cohen. "It is true that it gets attention. It's true that it's a distraction."

Barack broke his silence on the racist video Trump posted to social media

"But as I'm traveling around the country, as you're traveling around the country, you meet people, and they still believe in decency, courtesy, kindness," he continued.

"There's this sort of clown show that's happening in social media and on television. And what is true is that there doesn't seem to be any shame about this among people who used to feel like you had to have some sort of decorum and a sense of propriety and respect for the office, right? That's been lost."
