A member of the Patriots’ rookie class from 2025 will be back in New England next season.
The Patriots announced Tuesday they signed cornerback Brandon Crossley to a futures contract.
The 25-year-old signed with the Patriots as undrafted free agent last May. Crossley was released, re-signed and released again in August before returning to New England’s practice squad in Week 12.
Crossley remained on the practice squad before his release on Jan. 6.
During his collegiate career which included time at Colorado State and Southern Methodist, Crossley totaled 146 total tackles, six interceptions and 30 passes defended.
Crossley became the 14th player to sign a futures contract with the Patriots. The other 13 include: Jeremiah Pharms Jr., Lorenz Metz, Andrew Rupcich, Jeremiah Webb, John Jiles, Marshall Lang, Mehki Butler, Leonard Taylor III and linebackers Amari Gainer, Otis Reese, John Saunders Jr. Elijah Mitchell and Sebastian Gutierrez.
