JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - A Red Wolf is climbing the coaching ladder to the NFL.
ESPN was first to report that B.J. Edmonds would join the New England Patriots coaching staff. He was hired in January as the Southern Miss running backs under Blake Anderson. Edmonds also had coaching stops at Duke, Utah State, and Kansas Wesleyan.

The Alabama native played for Arkansas State from 2016 to 2019. He recorded 265 tackles, 28 pass deflections, 8 interceptions, 3 TFL, 3 TFL, and 3 forced fumbles. Edmonds earned 2nd Team All-Sun Belt honors in 2019 and Honorable Mention All-SBC accolades in 2017.
