Chelsea looking into signing 6ft 3in 29-year-old centre back in the summer window

According to reports, Chelsea are looking into signing 29-year-old centre back Kim Min-Jae from Bayern Munich.

The Blues are looking at potentially making a move to sign him in the summer transfer window, with the 29-year-old now becoming less of a regular starter at his club.

EXCLUSIVE! Two more NEW names added to Chelsea summer list of targets – One from Wolves and one from Atletico Madrid!! 👀

Chelsea don’t really sign players of this age, so this one will be hard for most Chelsea fans to believe. But adding experience to the back line would be a very smart move from the club, if they can manage to sway a little from their ethos of only buying young.

According to Christian Falk, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are keeping a close eye on the South Korean international’s future with the Bundesliga giants, with a transfer to the Premier League emerging as a possible option for Min-jae.

He has a contract with Bayern until June 2028 and is valued at ÂŁ22 million on Transfermarkt, and Chelsea may well see it as a valuable opportunity if they can get him for a decent fee.

I don’t personally see this happening, but it could be one to keep an eye on I guess, like many other names we are being linked with right now.
