Striker set for meeting with his club after Chelsea weigh up a move - journalist

Dusan Vlahovic’s future could be decided very soon amid reported interest from Chelsea.

It was recently claimed that Chelsea enquired about signing Vlahovic, who will be a free agent this summer as things stand.

Joao Pedro has been the Blues’ main striker this season, while Liam Rosenior also has Liam Delap and Marc Guiu.

Nicolas Jackson could be an option for Chelsea again next season! 👀

Nevertheless, it looks like Chelsea are still open to signing a new centre-forward in the next transfer window.

Dusan Vlahovic will discuss future with Juventus in coming days

Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has told Sky Sport that Vlahovic will meet with Juventus in the next few days to discuss his future.

According to Di Marzio, the 26-year-old wants to remain at the Allianz Stadium and a contract renewal is still very much possible.

It means Chelsea may have to look elsewhere or go into the 2026/27 season with what they already have.

As well as Pedro, Delap and Guiu, Rosenior will also have Emanuel Emegha as an option next term. However, you would expect Guiu to leave Chelsea on loan for game time.

There has also been talk about Nicolas Jackson possibly remaining at Chelsea this summer when he returns from Bayern Munich. If that happens, there will be no need to sign Vlahovic.

Chelsea should retain Nicolas Jackson instead of signing Dusan Vlahovic

If Chelsea really do want another first-team striker on top of Pedro, Delap and Emegha, it makes more sense to keep hold of Jackson than sign Vlahovic.

Jackson’s loan move to Bayern was quite ugly. A lot happened behind the scenes, while it became very apparent that the 24-year-old had fallen out with Enzo Maresca.

However, Maresca is no longer at Stamford Bridge, so this could be a fresh start for Jackson. On a free transfer, you would also have to assume that Vlahovic’s salary demands are going to be huge. It is hard to imagine how he would fit into the club’s wage structure.
