Arsenal have reportedly identified RB Leipzig defender Castello Lukeba as a priority target ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old Frenchman has established himself as a key player for the Bundesliga side. He also features on the shortlist of several European top clubs ahead of the summer.
According to SportsBoom, a number of clubs are in the race for Lukeba’s signature. Arsenal, Aston Villa, Tottenham, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are all interested in the Leipzig centre-back.
It is claimed that Mikel Arteta’s side have earmarked Lukeba as a “priority summer target.” This would provide much-needed competition for William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhães.
Arsenal hope their attractive sporting project could give them the edge in the race to secure the defender’s services this summer.
