Chelsea told potential signing‘can score goals and give assists’ahead of summer swoop

Emmanuel Petit has opened up and told the likes of Chelsea that summer target Julian Alvarez ‘he’s got everything’ amid the speculation the Blues want to sign the Athletic Madrid striker for £82 million in the summer window

CHELSEA would have to pay a big fee if they were to lure Julian Alvarez back to the Premier League, that is according to ex-Everton and Aston Villa chief executive Keith Wyness, amid the many reports that Chelsea are still keen on a transfer deal.

Over the past few weeks, it is no secret that have been heavily linked with a move for Julian Alvarez ever since news broke that Spanish giants Atletico Madrid would be open to letting the little striker leave the club during the summer transfer window.

However – Chelsea are not the only club that is interested in a move for Alvarez at the end of the season, as there are also alot more reports in the media which have claimed that Arsenal are actually leading the chase to sign the forward for a fee of £82 million

And now, Petit has come out and claimed that Alvarez has everything to play for any of the top clubs: ‘When Julian Alvarez was playing for City, I really liked him,’ Petit told Ignition Casino.

‘He didn’t start every single game but every time he played for City, and for Atletico as well since, he has been really special. He can score goals and give assists, but he’s got temper, personality, and character. I think in terms of movement he is very intelligent.

‘Physically as well, he’s a top player and technically, he’s got everything to suit the best clubs in Europe.

‘The reason why he left City was because he wanted to play regular football, but I think Pep Guardiola would be very happy to have him back in the squad.

WOULD ALVAREZ BE A GOOD SIGNING?

Signing Julián Álvarez would represent a bold and intelligent move for Chelsea. His pressing intensity, versatility across the front line, and proven productivity at the highest level make him a near-ideal fit for a team seeking sharper movement and end-product in the final third.

Despite competition for minutes, his adaptability suggests he could thrive as both a starter and an impact option. The primary concern is cost, but his age, work rate, and winning pedigree indicate long-term value that could significantly elevate ***CHELSEA’***s attacking identity.

Such a profile aligns well with the club’s broader rebuild under its evolving sporting project.
