"I'm not sure if he's going to be the manager in 10 months" - Former Chelsea star sends sack warning to Liam Rosenior despite good start

Former Chelsea player Emmanuel Petit has sent a sack warning to Liam Rosenior despite his good start at Stamford Bridge. He believes that the Englishman might not be at the club in 10 months, let alone have a chance to win the Premier League title.

Speaking to Ignition Casino, Petit said Chelsea do not have the consistency to win the title as they keep changing players. He believes that the Blues need to follow the model of Liverpool and Manchester City and said (via GOAL):

"Can Liam Rosenior ever win a Premier League title with Chelsea? They've been changing players every single year. So consistency and stability are very important if you want to win something. You have to stick with your players, have a vision, and stick with it. It doesn't matter if you go through dark tunnels, you have to stick with it. at, and they won trophies. Arsenal have been doing that for years now and are not far from winning it. We will see at the end of the season."

Petit went on to say that Rosenior will get sacked at Stamford Bridge as soon as he has a few bad results and said:

"Look at Manchester United, look at Spurs, look at Chelsea, all those clubs. They've been changing players and managers so many times. And then all of a sudden you want them to win the title? And you're asking me if Liam Rosenior is capable of winning the title with Chelsea? I'm not sure if he's going to be the manager in 10 months. If he has three or four bad results in a row, I will not be surprised if the board sacks him."

Chelsea appointed Rosenior in January after parting ways with Enzo Maresca.

They have dropped points just once in the Premier League under the English, drawing 2-2 to Leeds United at Stamford Bridge after leading 2-0 in the game. They are yet to face a top side in the league, but have managed keep hold of the fifth place.

The Englishman was appointed by the club after impressing at sister club Strasbourg.
