Wide receiver is one of the positions the Cleveland Browns must address this coming offseason. Outside of perhaps a trade, the best path to do that is through the NFL draft.
My preference is to select a wide receiver with the sixth pick in the draft. If that doesn't produce the desired results, attack the position again early in the 2027 draft.
That being said, even if the Browns take a wide receiver at six, they should play the board. There's a possibility that a good value will present itself on day three and the Browns should then capitalize on an opportunity and see if that player can deliver.
There are a pair of outside receivers with excellent profiles that project to be available on day three of the draft. If either is available, the Browns might feel inclined to pull the trigger.
