One of the most overrated players in the entire NBA plays for the [Milwaukee Bucks](https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nba/milwaukee-bucks).
At least according to [Greg Swartz of Bleacher Report](https://bleacherreport.com/articles/25396926-ranking-most-overrated-nba-players-right-now), who recently included Kyle Kuzma in a list of the league's most overrated players this season.
Kyle Kuzma named one of the most overrated players in NBA
----------------------------------------------------------
The Bucks traded for Kuzma prior to the trade deadline last season, and the results have been underwhelming thus far, especially compared to his contract.
On the season, Kuzma is averaging 12.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 26.8 minutes per performance.
“The Milwaukee Bucks' big trade deadline acquisition last year, Kuzma has failed to even establish himself as a full-time starter this season for a team desperate to make the playoffs and keep Giannis Antetokounmpo happy," Swartz wrote.
“Currently playing on a four-year, $90 million deal, Kuzma is being paid like a starter yet should be viewed as a seventh or eighth man on a playoff team.”
In fairness to Kuzma, it's been a tough season in Milwaukee all around, so it's not like he's the only guy who has struggled. Antetokounmpo has missed a lot of games, and without him the Bucks simply aren't very good. Those struggles can't all be pinned on Kuzma, but he hasn't done much to mollify them either.
At this point in his career, Kuzma is who he is. He's a role player who can come in and provide some decent production, but he's not really going to raise the ceiling of your team.
There was a time when Kuzma was maybe looked at as a pseudo-star, but those days are gone. As a result, fans in Milwaukee probably agree with his inclusion on the overrated players list.
