Browns could show interest in Tyreek Hill.

The Cleveland Browns could look to bring in Tyreek Hill to bolster their offense.

The Miami Dolphins released Hill ahead of the new league year, and the star wide receiver will be highly sought after. Although many analysts have linked him to a reunion with the Kansas City Chiefs, Browns analyst Jonathan Peterlin of 92.3 The Fan believes Andrew Berry will pursue him.

“Andrew Berry thinks anytime you can get any talented player on a discount, whether that is because they have things off the field or otherwise, he looks at that as an advantage,” Peterlin said. “He sees the situations around Tyreek Hill and how it ended in Miami, and some of the other stuff, the weird things that happen around Tyreek Hill and continue to happen around Tyreek Hill, he looks at that like great we got a discount, we got a bargain. That’s how he operates, that is the Howie Roseman way of operating, too.”

Although Peterlin thinks Hill is someone Berry will show interest in, he isn’t sure if the feelings will be mutual. Hill could look to join a Super Bowl contending team and be an important part of an offense.

But if Hill wants a short-term deal to rebuild his value after the injury, the star receiver could make sense in Cleveland as the Browns’ No. 1 option.

Hill is an eight-time NFL Pro Bowler and five-time First-team All-Pro.

Will Hill Have a Robust Free Agent Market?

Despite Hill coming off a gruesome injury, he still should have multiple suitors in free agency.

Hill is still an electric receiver who can be a team’s No. 1 or No. 2 option and be a deep ball specialist. The speedy receiver should have multiple contending teams after him, as ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler expects his market to be solid.

“Hill is one of the rare players who has maintained his elite speed into his 30s — speed that kept him among the game’s elite pass catchers. His significant knee injury could jeopardize that speed, and Hill himself didn’t shy away from the notion of retirement back in October,” Fowler wrote.

“But Hill might just be the unique player who can recover from this and continue to make plays. A potential return to Kansas City has to be mentioned. The Chiefs’ offense hasn’t quite been the same since the franchise traded Hill in 2022. Reuniting with Los Angeles Chargers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel makes sense, too. Hill was perfectly suited for McDaniel’s scheme. While Hill’s days of top-shelf earning power might be over, he’ll likely still get a respectable contract.”

Hill recorded 21 receptions for 265 yards and a touchdown last season before a season-ending injury. His best season came in 2023 when he recorded 119 receptions for 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns.

---Browns Looking for Another WR

Cleveland is looking to bolster its offense, and a key part will be adding to its receiver room.

The Browns’ No. 1 receiver is Jerry Jeudy, and his future with the team is up in the air. He struggled last season, but Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports that Jeudy will be back next season.

“Despite the rough year, Jeudy will be back with the Browns in 2026 with the expectation that he’ll rebound amid some quarterback stability. The Browns haven’t identified their starter for 2026 yet, but they’re confident they’ll be better at QB than in 2025, when third-round pick Dillon Gabriel went 1-5 and fifth-round pick Shedeur Sanders went 3-4,” Cabot wrote.

Jeudy recorded 50 receptions for 602 yards and 2 touchdowns last season.
