"I would (consider playing in NBA Europe). I would," Towns said per The Athletic. "I really, I love international basketball, love playing FIBA basketball as well. Obviously, not better than playing in the NBA. But it would be pretty cool to even see that get off the ground and actually operate. But, possibly, one day to be part of that would be pretty cool."
The NBA is working on a plan to launch permanent franchises in some of the biggest markets in Europe.
The league is targeting countries like the UK, Spain, Germany, Italy, and France.

The idea includes two teams in each country at first. The competition would feature 12 permanent clubs, plus four more teams that could qualify every season.
Right now, Towns is focused on winning games in New York. The Knicks sit third in the Eastern Conference with a 35-20 record, fighting for home court advantage in the playoffs.
In 51 games this season, Towns is averaging 19.8 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. He is shooting 46.6 percent from the field and 35.1 percent from three-point range.
