Logan Paul Calls Football ‘Cute’ Amid WWE–NFL Athleticism Debate With Tom Brady

Logan Paul fired back at Tom Brady after the NFL legend took a playful jab at his WWE career.

A few weeks ago, NFL legend Tom Brady appeared on the Impaulsive and jokingly called pro wrestling cute and not real competition while questioning Paul’s athletic level compared to NFL players.

The exchange quickly went viral, especially after Paul previously claimed that 99% of NFL players could not make it in WWE. The debate even prompted Paul Heyman to send a warning to Brady. Now, Paul also took a jab at NFL athleticism and called it “cute.”

Logan Paul Responds To Tom Brady On Latest Impaulsive

On a later episode of Impaulsive featuring Brianna Chickenfry, Paul clarified his comments. When asked whether he truly believes he is more athletic than NFL stars like Saquon Barkley, Paul admitted he was exaggerating for entertainment.

“No. The answer is absolutely not,” Paul said. “NFL athletes are incredible athletes. I just like when people think I’m serious and then I lean into it. That’s part of the art.” He explained that athleticism depends on the sport and the skill set required.

“Most NFL players are better athletes than most WWE Superstars,” Paul admitted. “But I’m not sure we could just switch roles and it would be easy. Every sport at the highest level takes insane dedication and a specific skill set.”

However, Paul still made a bold claim when comparing himself directly to Brady. “If you put me and Tom Brady up athletically in most sports, I bet I’d be more athletic,” he said. When asked to name examples, Paul joked about sports like basketball, golf, and even fencing, admitting Brady might still beat him in some of them.

Paul then flipped Brady’s earlier cute comment back at football. “He used the word ‘cute’ about WWE. In many ways, football is also cute. When it comes to durability and primal competition, combat sports are the ultimate level. I’m a boxer. You can put most NFL players in a ring, and real fighters would beat them”

The debate may not end anytime soon. Paul and Brady are both scheduled to compete in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic on March 21, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
