Tom Brady calling the WWE “cute” didn’t sit well with Logan Paul.
“If you put me and Tom Brady up athletically against one another in a majority of sports, I bet I’d be more athletic,” Paul said on his “IMPAULSIVE” podcast. “He used the word ‘cute’ when talking about WWE. I think in many ways, football is also cute. I’m a boxer, and you can probably put most NFL players and basketball players in a ring and they’d probably get their ass kicked by real boxers.”
The beef between the two started with Brady ripped Paul for calling himself the “highest level of athlete” and questioned whether Saquon Barkley could do a flip off the top rope.
“You’re a good athlete, but when I’m thinking of Saquon Barkley, Odell Beckham, Justin Jefferson. It’s cute. I love WWE, it’s very cute,” Brady said. “But honestly this is like real football, this is real competition.”
Brady and Paul will play against one another in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic. The former Patriots and Buccaneers quarterback admitted he was worried about Paul because, while he is a good athlete, the people Paul will play against are on “another level.”
Paul reminded Brady of his high school playing days, noting he was an All-Star linebacker.
“Let’s see if you can still bring it,” Brady said. “Look, we all had a great past. I won seven Super Bowls. No one gives a (expletive). You know what matters? This game, March 21 in Saudi. I’m glad you’re gonna be there, and I’m glad you’re gonna finally compete in a competition that matters.”
The three-team round-robin flag football tournament will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on March 21.
