Mikey Munn is a good all-around addition to the Rutgers football secondary. This is according to one NFL scout who believes that the latest transfer portal commitment has a solid skillset as he looks to transition to the Big Ten.
An FCS All-American selection last year, Munn brings some considerable talent to Rutgers and should add playmaking ability to a secondary that struggled last season. In 2025 at South Dakota, Munn registered 59 total tackles with 10 passes defended and five interceptions. He will join Rutgers this summer, having committed to the program this week out of the transfer portal.
A former NFL scout, Joe Bommarito watched some of Munn's film and formed a very favorable impression of the player.
