The Chicago Bears are well into the 2026 offseason, and as the rest of the NFL continues to get ready for the 2026 league year, Ryan Poles will enter the offseason as one of the intriguing general managers throughout the league.
After hiring Ben Johnson 13 months ago and helping assemble a roster that won the NFC North for the first time since 2018, along with the franchise's first playoff victory since 2010, Poles next task will be an important one: Figuring out how to manage a limited salary cap while getting creative to ensure that the Bears can take a step forward and become Super Bowl contenders in 2026.
