College Basketball Gets Representation In NBA 2K26 Season 5

College Basketball returns in NBA 2K, with NBA 2K26 Season 5 featuring College Basketball legends and current athletes, along with unlockables for both MyPLAYER and MyTEAM, including jerseys, mascots, and of course, Player Cards.

When NBA 2K26 Season 5 debuts on Friday, February 20, players will be able to unlock tons of new College Basketball-themed content. This follows news of EA Sports scrapping plans to revive its NCAA game late last year, as schools opted to sign to appear in NBA 2K instead. Now, 16 schools are appearing as part of this Season's new content, which fuels rumors of 2K Sports investing more into College Basketball sooner or later.

NBA 2K26 Season 5 Highlights:

16 Iconic Schools: New college-themed content including Player Cards, jerseys, mascots, and more from the following 16 powerhouse universities: Arizona, Baylor, Duke, Florida, Houston, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Purdue, Texas, UCLA, UConn, and UNC.

Past Meets Present: MyTEAM will feature an era-spanning roster of new Player Cards from legendary alumni to over 40 current college athletes. Featuring stars like Cameron Boozer and Lauren Betts, Season 5 gives players a chance to play with the next generation before they turn pro.
