Irvin made the comments on his YouTube channel after the game. He said, “This was a horrible Super Bowl. They should never ever, ever, ever bring the Super Bowl back to San Francisco. In all the years of going to a Super Bowl, this was the worst.”

He added, “NFL, you cannot come back here again. You cannot have a Super Bowl back here again.” But he added that an NFC Championship game would be okay if the team earned it.
Michael Irvin stands firm on Super Bowl criticism amid pushback
Michael Irvin has covered and attended many Super Bowls before this one. Super Bowl LX was the second Super Bowl to be held at Levi’s Stadium. The Seattle Seahawks beat the New England Patriots 29-13 that night.
Santa Clara is about 45 miles south of San Francisco. Many people still call the event the San Francisco Super Bowl. Irvin said the whole experience in the area did not feel right to him. He has been to Super Bowls in other cities and this one stood out for the wrong reasons.
He grew up in Texas and played 12 seasons with the Cowboys. He reached the Super Bowl three times during his career and won one ring. As an analyst, he travels to big games each year.
Irvin did not hold back in his review. He finished by saying the NFL cannot have a Super Bowl back in the area again. His words spread quickly on social media after he posted the video. Fans from the Bay Area pushed back in the comments but Irvin stood by what he saw during his time there.
