England will face Uruguay and Japan at Wembley in March in their final warm-up matches before head coach Thomas Tuchel names his 2026 World Cup squad.

The Three Lions play Uruguay on March 27, and Japan on March 31, with coach Tuchel set to announce his squad in May. Uruguay and Japan, ranked 16th and 18th by FIFA, respectively, have both already qualified for the tournament, which runs from June 11 to July 19 across Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

England will play all three of their World Cup group matches in the U.S., starting against Croatia on June 17 and Ghana on June 23, before finishing against Panama on June 27.

Meanwhile, the England women’s under-23 team is preparing for friendlies in March under newly appointed interim head coach Lauren Smith. Liverpool FC Women’s Mia Enderby and Hannah Silcock, currently on loan at Birmingham City, are included in the squad.

The Young Lionesses will face France at Clairefontaine on March 2 in the WU23 European Competition, before hosting the Netherlands at Shrewsbury Town on March 6 in a friendly.

A win for Smith’s side against France would guarantee at least a second-place finish in Group A of the WU23 European Competition, securing a spot in the semi-finals in Spain this April. England currently sit third in the group, having played one game fewer than second-placed Portugal, while France are fifth.

Below is the full England squad named for the March matches: Goalkeepers: Katie Cox (Aberdeen, on loan from Chelsea), Khiara Keating (Manchester City), Natalia Negri (Ipswich Town).

Defenders: Cerys Brown (Nottingham Forest, on loan from London City Lionesses), Megan Collett (Southampton), Teyah Goldie (London City Lionesses), Gracie Prior (Manchester City), Evie Rabjohn (Celtic), Chloe Sarwie (Chelsea), Hannah Silcock (Birmingham City, on loan from Liverpool), Jess Simpson (Southampton, on loan from Manchester United), Mari Ward (Bristol City).

Midfielders: Sarah Brasero (West Ham), Ruby Mace (Everton), Olivia McLoughlin (Leicester City), Erica Meg Parkinson (Valadares Gaia), Lexi Potter (Chelsea), Maisie Symonds (Brighton & Hove Albion).

Forwards: Mia Enderby (Liverpool), Isobel Goodwin (London City Lionesses), Lenna Gunning-Williams (Tottenham Hotspur), Lexi Lloyd-Smith (Bristol City), Georgia Mullett (Aston Villa).
