Charlie Gray has been around the Manchester City first-team so far this season.
He’s been on the bench multiple times in the Champions League and Premier League. Besides that, he made his first-team debut in the Carabao Cup against Brentford in the quarter-finals.
Gray is now 19 and has also captained Manchester City U19s in the UEFA Youth League. He has been a regular in the competition, starting the last three games, scoring against Real Madrid and HJK Helsinki.
There is now a possibility of the Citizens losing the talent in the next few months.
Bologna want Manchester City youngster

The deal is seen as a ‘big hit’ by directors Marco Di Vaio and Giovanni Sartori. They are trying to lay down the foundations of a move, with Premier League clubs also interested in the midfielder.
Move can help Gray
Bologna could turn out to be quite a good move for Gray. That is largely because of the club’s clever recruitment and reputation of developing younger players.
They did that famously for Riccardo Calafiori and Joshua Zirkzee before they made big moves to the Premier League. Emil Holm, who joined Juventus recently, also developed well at Bologna after joining from Spezia. Santiago Castro is also a major example, with Premier League clubs keeping an eye on the Argentine.
Sartori is one of the most capable directors in Italy right now too. He was key behind Atalanta’s rise and is playing a role behind Bologna’s growth in stature too.
