Miami Heat get big update on Tyler Herro injury status

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro is nearing a return after missing nearly a month with a rib injury.

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro is closing in on a return after missing nearly a month with a rib injury, per Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald.

Miami Heat / Schedule

Herro has been sidelined indefinitely due to a costochondral issue, an injury to the cartilage connecting the ribs, and has not played since late January.

The 2025-26 season has been a challenging one for the franchise guard, who has struggled with injuries, limiting him to just 11 games.

Despite the setbacks, Herro has been productive when on the floor, averaging 21.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game while shooting 49.7 percent from the field and 35.8 percent from three.

Miami currently sits as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 29-27 record.
