The New England Patriots are likely still licking their wounds after getting curb-stomped in the Super Bowl, but one thing we know about Mike Vrabel is that he won't dwell on it for too long.
With NFL free agency just around the corner, there is a path for the Patriots to again be significant players to bolster what is already a quality roster.
But where are the Patriots' most pressing needs?
Pass rush looms as one area of need, and for CBS Sports' John Breech, he's named New England as a potential landing spot for disgruntled Cincinnati Bengals pass rusher Trey Hendrickson.
"The Patriots made a big splash in free agency last offseason, and with a healthy amount of salary cap space, it wouldn't be surprising if they get aggressive again this year," Breech wrote. "The Patriots actually posted the league's worst sack differential last year, allowing 48 while recording 35. Mike Vrabel will be looking for pass-rush upgrades."

Patriots adding Hendrickson a huge move
Of course it would, but it wouldn't be cheap.
Spotrac.com has Hendrickson's market value at just over $25 million APY, but you could make the case that Trey could get $30 million APY easily if a team really wanted his services.
Exactly what his market will be is unknown, but there will be no shortage of suitors if he makes it to free agency.
The Patriots are aware of their shortcomings that cost them a Super Bowl title, and maybe making a move for a player like Hendrickson is one that can put them over the top.
It will be pricey, but you could say it would be worth it.
