It's a good thing the Charlotte Hornets aren't playing this Wednesday because LaMelo Ball has found himself in some trouble.
Ball, an All-Star and former Rookie of the Year, was involved in a car accident this afternoon in Charlotte. He was traveling west on Trade Street when he tried to make a left turn onto Tryon Street. As he tried to pull off this turn in his 2022 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1, he slammed into a gray Kia sedan.
"Photos provided to me show LaMelo getting out of the driver's seat," Joe Bruno of WSOC-TV said. "But CMPD hasn't said who was driving and how this crash happened. Another car was involved. Medic says one person has minor injuries. We don't know who this person is."

Witnesses claim Ball got out of his Hummer and entered a Lamborghini after the crash occurred.
Footage of Wednesday's crash was obtained by WSOC-TV. With that said, it didn't take long for fans to criticize him.
"Accidents happen. It's also time for LaMelo to grow up. Everything isn't funny or a joke," one fan said. "Life/actions have real consequences."
"He's gonna seriously injure someone if he doesn't stop driving reckless," another fan commented.
What's the latest on LaMelo?
Rod Boone of The Charlotte Observer is reporting that Ball didn't sustain any injuries in this accident.
As for the other driver involved in this accident, they reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
It's unclear if Ball will miss Thursday's game against the Houston Rockets.
