Premier League title race fixtures compared as Arsenal and Man City set for showdown

Arsenal failed to extend their advantage at the Premier League summit after surrendering a two-goal cushion against Wolves at Molineux. The Gunners missed out on the chance lead over Manchester City at the top of the table, with the gap separating the two clubs now five points.

Strikes from Bukayo Saka and Piero Hincapie had seemingly put Arsenal in command against Wolves, only for Hugo Bueno to reduce the deficit before Tom Edozie's stoppage-time equaliser salvaged a point for the home side.

Arsenal have a five-point lead over City at the top of the Premier League table, but have played one game more. City's game in hand will be against Crystal Palace, the match which was due to be played the same weekend as the Carabao Cup final, but a new date for the fixture is yet to be announced, reports football.london.

With all of that being said, Express Sport has compared the upcoming fixtures for Arsenal and Man City as the title race heats up.

Arsenal's next five Premier League fixtures

Tottenham (A) - February 22

Bournemouth (H) - April 11

Verdict: Arsenal's upcoming three fixtures are set to be demanding as they travel to Tottenham and Brighton either side of hosting Chelsea.

After an FA Cup fifth round trip away at Mansfield Town, the Gunners return to Emirates Stadium to take on Everton. The Carabao Cup final against Manchester City represents their last fixture ahead of the March international break, with a meeting against Bournemouth scheduled following that extended domestic hiatus.

Man City's next five Premier League fixtures

Newcastle (H) - February 21

Leeds United (A) - February 28

Nottingham Forest (H) - March 4

Verdict: Man City also face some testing encounters ahead, with away trips to Chelsea, Leeds United and an improving West Ham.

Their home fixtures on the calendar are against Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest, with Pep Guardiola's team clear favourites to secure victories in both matches.
