“If you put me and Tom Brady up athletically against one another in like a majority of sports, I bet I’d be more athletic,” Paul told his guest, Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia. He also warned that the gridiron doesn’t compare to the ring: “I think in many ways football is also cute because I’m a boxer… you can probably put most NFL players and basketball players in a ring, and they’d probably get their ass kicked.”

Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl champion who signed a $375 million lead analyst contract with Fox Sports, dismissed Paul’s WWE background as “very cute”. Oddsmakers and analysts might favor the veteran, but Brady issued his own warning during a February appearance on the podcast.
“I’m actually a little worried for you because I know for me… you’re a good athlete, but these guys are another level,” Brady said. “I’m glad you’re finally going to participate in like a competition that matters.”

Logan Paul Admitted He Enjoys the Art of The Troll
Co-host Mike Majlak and LaPaglia questioned whether Paul was “jester maxing” to gain attention. Paul admitted he enjoys the art of the troll to generate engagement.
“The answer is absolutely not… NFL athletes are incredible athletes,” Paul added. “But I like when people think I’m serious and then I just fucking lean into it.”
Paul has proposed a fencing match in Los Angeles this April to settle the dispute, citing his speed as a deciding factor. While Brady has not issued an official response to the fencing challenge until now, the heated rhetoric has successfully built hype for their upcoming March 21st meeting in Saudi Arabia.
