Las Vegas Raiders‘ Maxx Crosby had Chicago Bears QB Caleb Williamson his podcast, and with the pass rusher’s name in trade speculation, this only added more fuel to the fire.

The Bears are coming off a playoff appearance this past 2025 NFL season after falling to the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round. Meanwhile, the Silver and Black are rebuilding, and with Crosby turning 29 before the season starts, there are questions about whether the player’s timeline aligns with the team’s.

As a result, there’s trade speculation, and one team involved is Chicago. Crosby was featured inESPN’s Bill Barnwell article, published Feb. 16, examining trade proposals that could make sense for both teams. When it came to Crosby, Barnwell has him heading to the Bears.

Moreover, FS1’s Danny Parkins states that Williams could play a role in Chicago’s potential trade for Crosby, considering Parkins believes the Raiders staris drawn to the Bears QB.

“I think that the underlying thing about the whole thing is, obviously, how much Crosby likes and respects Caleb,”Parkins said on Feb. 18 during an appearance on 104.3 The Score. “I don’t know that Crosby is going to pull the lever to demand the trade, but he’s been flirting with it for a while…

“Then Crosby and so many guys praising Caleb for how impressive and how impressed they were with him, and Caleb saying that he wants to have the best offense…

“I think that just the validation of his peers, Caleb’s standards for himself, and then the dream of Crosby teaming up with the Bears to be the missing piece on Caleb’s rookie deal. I just thought there were a lot of things that hung over that conversation.”

What Would Raiders Get for Maxx Crosby?

As far as the trade package, in his piece, Barnwell seesCrosby and a 2027 fifth-round pick would be going to Chicago, while Las Vegas receives wideout DJ Moore and a 2026 first-round pick. Nonetheless, some might feel that this wouldn’t be enough for Crosby.

Still, Chicago Sports Network’s Clay Harbor gave theRaiders a blunt reality check: He doesn’t see the Silver and Black getting the same package theDallas Cowboys received when they traded Micah Parsons to theGreen Bay Packers.

“I don’t think they’re going to get the Micah Parsons deal,”Habor said on a video posted by CHSN on Feb. 18. “Micah Parsons was 26. He was coming off three top-three finishes as Defensive Player of the Year. Crosby has never once finished in the top four. He’s never been a First-Team All-Pro.

“I think Crosby is great. You can look at what he does. He’s a guy that they have to double-team all the time. We always have to plan to stop him, but he is not Micah Parsons. I don’t think quite D.J. Moore and a fifth and a first would be enough to get this trade done.”

Bears Should Be All Over Trade Prediction Involving Maxx Crosby

Nonetheless, in the same video, David Haugh wants the Bears to jump all overthat proposed dealfrom Barnwell for Crosby if that’s all it will take to get the Raiders’ pass rusher to Chicago.

“If this is the deal on the table, the Bears can’t say yes soon enough because it isn’t giving up that much,” Haugh added. “This year’s one where you’re looking for an edge rusher and D.J. Moore, who has a whopping salary.

“But that would obviously be a sacrifice you’d be willing to make for Maxx Crosby coming back, or at least I would. If this were the deal, if these were the terms, yes, absolutely. This would be a steal for the Bears, I believe.”
