Everything you need to know about Newcastle United's injuries and suspensions ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Manchester City...
Up next for Newcastle United: Following a 6-1 thrashing of Qarabag in the Champions League on Wednesday, the Magpies now turn their attention to a Premier League match with Manchester City come Saturday. Kick-off is 8pm at the Etihad Stadium.
Malick Thiaw: The centre-half will serve a one-match ban for the return leg with Qarabag after picking up his third yellow card in the Champions League on Wednesday evening. He will be available for the City game, however.
Yoane Wissa: The forward missed the trip to Qarabag owing to a knock picked up in training but should be set to feature this weekend.
Lewis Miley: Miley also missed Wednesday's match due to "muscle disruption", but Eddie Howe has explained he has made "good progress" over the last few days. He could be available at the weekend.
Emil Krafth: The defender will be out for the rest of the season after having surgery on his knee.
Bruno Guimaraes: The Newcastle captain picked up a thigh injury during the final stages of United's win over Tottenham last week. He is currently receiving treatment in Brazil and will be ruled out for a "couple of months", according to Howe.
Fabian Schar: The seasoned veteran faces a couple of months on the sidelines after an ankle injury sustained against Leeds United in January which required surgery. He could return in the latter stages of the season.
Tino Livramento: The full-back was ruled out for up to two months in January owing to a hamstring injury. He will not make Howe's squad on Saturday but should be back in March.
Sven Botman: Howe explained that Botman was rested against Spurs due to discomfort in his back, but it is not thought to be a serious injury. He could feature against City on Saturday.
