Restaurant Stuns With Recreation of Bad Bunny's Super Bowl Halftime Show

A Peruvian restaurant has gone viral after its staff recreated Bad Bunny's 2026 Super Bowl halftime show-complete with choreography, costumes and even a white truck-inside their own dining room.

Las Gaviotas Cevichería, based in Lima, shared a side-by-side TikTok comparing footage of the Puerto Rican superstar's performance with their own in-house tribute.

In the clip watched by millions of viewers, employeesdance in formation between tables using vegetables and kitchen props as stand-ins for stage elements from the original show.

At one point, the restaurant‘s chef climbs on top of a white truck inside the eatery, mirroring the vehicle used during Bad Bunny's halftime set.

The TikTok video, posted by user lasgaviotas.cevicheria, spread to Reddit where viewers praised the staff's energy and coordination amid more than 10,000 comments.

The Reddit thread pointed out how closely the restaurant's performance followed the televised spectacle, which was watched by more than 135 million viewers.

Bad Bunny's halftime appearance was widely described as a landmark moment. It marked the first time a predominantly Spanish–language artist headlined the Super Bowl halftime show.

"Listen, Bad Bunny is… one of the great artists in the world and that’s one of the reasons we chose him," NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said after the Grammys, as Newsweek reported.

"But the other reason is he understood the platform he was on, and that this platform is used to unite people, and to be able to bring people together with their creativity, with their talents and to be able to use this moment to do that," Goodell continued.

The cultural impact of the performance was felt far beyond the stadium.

That sense of pride appears to have resonated with Las Gaviotas' team-and with viewers online.

Pundits reacted to the restaurant staff's performance with admiration among 500 comments on Reddit.

"Can you imagine this being your workplace?? Everyone is so attractive and dances so well. I'm such a bad dancer, I'd offer to hold the camera," a fan admitted.

Another observed: "This whole team is just made up of baddies, HOW."

A fellow commentator chipped in: "I seriously love the Latino community."

Since the monumental performance, Bad Bunny has only seen continued success, rising to the top of Billboard’s Hot 100 list just one week after the Super Bowl.

While Bad Bunny's performance prompted debate in some corners, the Lima restaurant's tribute has largely been met with delight.

By transforming their workspace into a miniature halftime stage, the staff of Las Gaviotas Cevichería turned a global pop culture moment into a local celebration-and, in the process, delivered a reminder of how far one performance can travel.
