Arsenal striker target Julian Alvarez has reportedly made a decision on his next club ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old Argentine has been heavily linked with a potential move to the Gunners in recent months.
ESPN previously reported in January that Mikel Arteta’s side were exploring the possibility of a summer deal for the Atletico Madrid forward.
Now, an update has emerged regarding his future.
Spanish outlet SPORT claims that Julian Alvarez prefers a move to Barcelona.

The Spanish giants hold a long-term interest in Alvarez, with president Joan Laporta understood to be a big admirer of the striker.
Chelsea and Manchester United have also been mentioned as potential suitors in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid are attempting to tie their star man down to a new deal.
Alvarez’s current contract at the Wanda Metropolitano runs until the summer of 2030.
The Argentina international has scored 13 goals and registered six assists in 35 appearances across all competitions so far this season.
