The date and time for Liverpool’s FA Cup fifth round tie against Wolves has been confirmed, leaving just 70 hours between the two visits to Molineux.
Arne Slot‘s side claimed a place in the FA Cup‘s last 16 with a 3-0 win against Brighton over the weekend, earning them a tie against Wolves.
The draw means Liverpool play the bottom-placed Premier League side twice within the space of four days, with the cup tie scheduled for the late kickoff on Friday, March 6.

Liverpool’s trip to Molineux for the FA Cup fifth round tie will take place on Friday, March 6, with an 8pm (GMT) kickoff.
The match will be shown live on TNT Sports 1, BBC One and iPlayer in the UK.
Why is there a 70-hour turnaround for Liverpool?
Liverpool face Wolves in a Premier League clash on Tuesday, March 3 at 8.15pm, meaning the Reds kick off in the FA Cup 70 hours after full-time at the same stadium.
Fixture 1: Premier League

Fixture 2: FA Cup 5th Round
Date: Friday, March 6, 2026
Stadium: Molineux

The reason it has been scheduled for a Friday evening start instead of later in the weekend is due to the Reds’ involvement in the Champions League.
The last 16 first leg takes place the following midweek (March 10/11), and the Friday FA Cup slot affords Liverpool at least four days between the cup tie and their European away trip.
Slot’s side will face one of the winners from the knockout round play-offs – potential opponents include Galatasaray, Juventus, Club Brugge or Atletico Madrid.

Having finished in the top eight of the league phase, Liverpool are guaranteed to be the away side for the first leg before returning to Anfield for the second leg on March 17/18.
It makes for a busy start to March for Liverpool with three away games in nine days, all of which are evening kickoffs.
