Chelsea told record fee will get exciting attacker signed up this coming summer

Chelsea have been warned it will take a club-record fee to sign RB Leipzig sensation Yan Diomande during the upcoming summer transfer window, as the Blues continue to be linked with the attacker.

Diomande has established himself as one of the best young prospects in the Bundesliga since joining RB Leipzig from CD Leganes this past summer. and he 19-year-old has been one of the most productive attackers for the Bundesliga club this season, scoring seven goals and providing four assists in 16 outings in all competitions thus far

Fichajes claim a €100m price-tag is putting the likes of CHELSEA and other interested clubs off making a bid this January. They would rather secure a deal in the region of €60m–70m (£52m-60.6m).

But this doesn’t seem likely after a recent statement from Oliver Mintzlaff, chairman of Red Bull’s supervisory board.

“As chairman of the supervisory board, I can confidently say he will definitely remain with us next season — even if an offer of €80m or €90m were to come in,” he told Sky Sports Germany.

IcChelseanews Says…

The money that is being talked about for Diomande is well over £80 million, he has been brilliant for the German side this season and his quality and age is why that valuation is so high.

Diomande would bring energy, hunger and a desire with him that we have seen a number of stars lack over the course of the season, but he would not be much better than what we already have at the club.

Maybe the German side will get that asking price they are demanding, but we are just hoping the CHELSEA board dont splash that amount of cash.
