The Boston Celtics are planning to sign Dalano Banton to a 10-day contract, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Banton recently completed a 10-day deal with the Los Angeles Clippers, whom he joined in early February. He appeared in two games for the team, averaging 3.0 points per contest.
The 26-year-old guard has averaged 6.7 points (40.3% from the field, 30.4% from three) and 2.2 rebounds in 14.5 minutes per game across five NBA seasons. Over 218 career games, he has played for the Raptors, Celtics, Trail Blazers, and Clippers.
Banton previously spent time in Boston during the 2023-24 season, appearing in 24 games and averaging 2.3 points in 7.1 minutes per game. That same season, he also split time with the Maine Celtics, Boston's G League affiliate.
The Canadian guard was selected with the 46th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft by Toronto.
