Shedeur Sanders’ Cleveland Browns are facing a lot of changes in this year’s offseason, from their head coach to a new defensive coordinator, and even some key players finding themselves out of the franchise.
On Wednesday, Browns star Wyatt Teller took to social media to announce that he would not be making a comeback to the franchise for the 2026 NFL season.
Teller wrote on Instagram that while he wishes things were different and wrote about how special the journey in Cleveland has been, where he spent the last 7 years after being traded by the Buffalo Bills, he recalled how he proposed to his wife on the field, bought his first home in the city, and started raising his two kids there, all of the milestones that would remain special to him.
“CLEVELAND,
I wish things were different and this is hard to put into words. When Buffalo traded me to Cleveland seven years ago, I never could have imagined how much this city would mean to me. Ultimately, the Browns took a chance on me that changed the trajectory of my life forever.
To the most loyal fans in the NFL, I hope y’all know that you have made a mark on my family’s life forever. I proposed to Carly on the 50 yard line at the stadium, bought our first home here, and proudly welcomed both of our babies to the world in Cleveland.
I’ve made friendships and connections on and off the field that will last far beyond the game of football. Our family is so blessed and grateful for everyone in Northeast Ohio who has supported and loved us these past seven years.
While we are excited and look forward to what the future holds, Cleveland will always have a special place in our hearts. As always…Go Browns!.” Teller wrote.
Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders reacted to Teller’s exit and dropped an emotional goodbye to him, “:( gonna miss you bro.”
Teller picked up the pace as one of the Browns’ stars in 2020 when he secured his first second-team All pro Honor and got named to three straight Pro Bowls from 2021 to 2023.

Shedeur Sanders Reacts to Hinted Starting QB Uncertainty by HC Todd Monken
Many fans and analysts consider Shedeur Sanders as one of the key reasons behind Kevin Stefanski’s firing, and now that the steering wheel is in Todd Monken’s hands, many individuals will be curious to see how he handles the ex-Colorado star.
During the first few days as the new Browns head coach, Monken said that while he is excited about Shedeur Sanders, the starting quarterback position is yet to be determined, just like most of the other positions, to which Shedeur replied saying:
“That’s what’s expected,” Sanders told Kay Adams. “I think each day I have to prove to everybody and to myself, also.”
During his conversation with Kay Adams, Shedeur said that he likes having goals and he likes to accomplish those goals, be it the small ones or the long-term ones.
