The Toronto Raptors selected Dalano Banton in the second round of the 2021 NBA Draft and he spent the first-two plus seasons of his career in his native Canada.

Banton signed with the Celtics in July 2023 and played 24 games with the team that season before being traded to the Portland Trail Blazers in February 2024.

He averaged 2.3 points, 1.5 rebounds and 7.1 minutes per contest with Boston and made one start.

Banton earned a significant bump in playing time in Portland, averaging 16.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists over 29.2 minutes per game across 30 contests (eight starts) with the Trail Blazers during the 2023-24 campaign.

The Nebraska product posted 8.3 points and 2.4 assists in 16.7 minutes per game with Portland last season.

Banton registered six points and two assists in nine minutes over two games with the Los Angeles Clippers earlier this month before his 10-day contract expired.
