Report: What Nicolas Jackson's agents are doing as Premier League clubs circle for returning Chelsea star

Nicolas Jackson looks set to return to Chelsea in the summer and there is a feeling that despite his poor Bayern Munich stint, he could be reborn under Liam Rosenior.

Paul Merson has already made the point that Cole Palmer is missing Jackson, having the kind of striker who will run in behind and get on the end of Palmer’s magic. Joao Pedro is one to drop in deeper.

Bayern paid £14m to sign Jackson on loan and have an option for £56m, but that would have only been sanctioned if he made 40 appearances for the German club, in which he played more than 45 minutes.

How Chelsea COULD line-up with Nicolas Jackson

Could this side win the Premier League?

That’s only happened eight times this season. Jackson will return to Chelsea, where he has a contract until June 2033. But the Senegal striker’s future remains in doubt, with Premier League clubs showing interest.

Premier League clubs want to sign Nicolas Jackson

Before his Bayern loan, Jackson scored 30 goals in 81 games for Chelsea while also laying on 12 assists. This is a player who has impressed during his Blues career and has the potential to go and reignite that.

However, there is a scenario in which Jackson remains in the Premier League with a different club. A new report from TeamTalk claims Man United, Newcastle, Tottenham, and Villa are all interested in Jackson.

It is unclear how much Chelsea would want for Jackson and whether Liam Rosenior is planning on using the Senegal star moving forward, when his loan spell at Bayern does come to an end in the summer.

What Nicolas Jackson’s agents are doing behind the scenes

The African Cup of Nations winner could still be offloaded by Chelsea if the Blues choose to place their faith in Joao Pedro and Liam Delap, especially with Emmanuel Emegha joining in the summer window.

Are you taking Jackson back?

The TeamTalk reports that Jackson’s agents are planning for the future, just in case things do not work out at Chelsea. Indeed, it is said his agents are speaking to ‘trusted intermediaries’ about his next move.

A move to Man United would make sense given Benjamin Sesko’s form, but Newcastle and Villa both have two quality strikers in Nick Woltemade and Yoann Wissa, and Ollie Watkins and Tammy Abraham.

Spurs may appeal to Jackson, allowing him to remain in London. But it all depends on what Chelsea are planning with Jackson and if Rosenior wants to take a look at him before offloading in the summer.
