Here is the full schedule of NBA games today for Thursday, February 19th, in what is the first day of basketball since the All-Star Break.
A few days after the 2026 NBA All-Star Break, basketball fans can finally look forward to games on TV, as the league went without play for a week for the annual weekend festivities.
While there were some marquee college basketball games during the All-Star Break, on Thursday, February 19th, the NBA has a full slate of ten games set tobe played on the first night of basketball’s return to action.

Though it is the first day of NBA games back in action since the All-Star Break, not every team is slated to play on Thursday, as a few teams will tip off the final third of the season on Friday, February 20th, as each team either continues a push to the playoffs or the opposite way into the lottery, in hopes of landing a top pick.

While the two highlight games of the night are said to be on national television, asthey will be shown on Amazon Prime Video, it could beeasily argued that theywon’t beas easy to find or access compared to if they were on NBC, ABC, ESPN, or another cable channel.
Yet still, with Prime Video in its first season in agreement with the NBA to show games on its network, on Thursday, February 19th, the streaming service will host two interesting matchups on the first day of games back from the All-Star Break.
Beginning with the Pistons vs. Knicks game, this is a battle between two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. They’ve already played once this season, in a game just two weeks ago, in which Detroit enjoyed a dominant 118-80 win.This second contest of the season,which is a rematch from the 2025 Playoffs, is set to play a major role in who will finish the regular season atop the East standings.
Currently, the Knicksare set to have Miles McBride out,as he recovers from surgery, while OG Anunobyis listed as questionablewith a toe injury. For the Pistons,they will have both Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart miss the contest, asboth are facing multi-game suspensions from the NBA for their involvement in a fightin a recent game against the Hornets.
As for the Celtics vs. Warriors game, this contest perhaps doesn’t carry as much weight as the otherbattle between twoof the Eastern Conference teams. However, Boston is still in the hunt for a top seed and has been playing extremely well this season, despite not having franchise star Jayson Tatum.
Rumors of a Tatum return from his torn Achilles suffered last May continue to be top-of-mind for the Celtics and their fanbase, but for now, he remains out, and he is the only player listed on the injury report.
As for Golden State, they find themselves at a very interesting point in the season. As they battle for a top-six seed in the West to stay out of the Play-In Tournament, Stephen Curry believes the team can go on a postseason run, despite now not having Jimmy Butler, who is out for the rest of the year with a torn ACL.
Curry, his brother Seth Curry, Will Richard, L.J. Cryer, and Butler are all listed on the injury report. Kristaps Porzingis, whom the Warriors traded for at the February 5th deadline, is expected to make his debut for the team on Thursday night, against his old team, the Celtics, with whom he won a title with in 2024.
