The Chicago Bears have been drawing a lot of headlines over the last several weeks because of the new stadium situation. Chicago fans are wondering if they are going to stay in the state of Illinois or move the team to the state of Indiana. There are a lot of parties who no doubt need to be blamed. It starts with Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and Mayor Brandon Johnson.

If the Bears leave the state of Illinois, there will be a lot of upset fans. Fans will be blaming Government and yes, some people will blame ownership, but this is a crazy situation. It would be a big win for the state of Indiana if they were able to get the Bears in the state of Indiana.

Former Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn expresses his support for an advisory referendum during a press conference Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024 at the Peoria Public Library. The referendum would allow the creation of a three percent tax on millionaires throughout the state to help fund property tax relief.

Former Illinois Governor Pat Quinn called in onto 104.3 the score in Chicago, Illinois on Thursday morning to talk about the latest Bears stadium situation. Quinn served as Illinois Governor from 2009-2015. He said about the latest situation, “The Bears got to realize they just can’t take advantage of taxpayers.” There are a lot of fans who are not going to like these comments by Quinn.

Of course, they are going to blame Chicago’s ownership and taxpayers for the latest stadium situation in Illinois. So in other words, former Government people in Illinois and current Illinois leadership are going to blame the Bears organization if they leave the state. Bears fans know that the issue is the Government when it comes to this new stadium situation.

They were looking in Arlington Heights and Pritzker and Johnson tried doing nothing about it, so this is why the Bears could be negotiating with Indiana Governor Mike Braun. It would be the least surprising thing ever if the Illinois Government and former members like Quinn would be blaming other people but the democratic party for there own issues.
