The Los Angeles Lakers are planning an "all-out pursuit" of Giannis Antetokounmpo this offseason, reportedly could offer three future first-round picks if he requests a trade.
The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly planning an "all-out pursuit" of Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo this summer, according to Sam Amick of The Athletic.
Los Angeles Lakers / Schedule
Earlier, ESPN reported that the Lakers believe they would be among the top destinations if Giannis requests a trade. Their potential offer would likely focus on three future first-round draft picks.
However, a trade is far from certain. Despite all the speculation, there's no guarantee Giannis will be dealt.
Other teams expected to make serious offers this summer include the Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves, and New York Knicks.
Before the February 5 trade deadline, the Heat, Timberwolves, and Warriors were reportedly the most aggressive in pursuing him. Still, the Bucks were never seriously open to trading their longtime star.
Antetokounmpo has made it clear that his main priority is competing for another championship.
