The office of state representative is very important, particularly in these challenging times, with all the federal and critical state issues that must be decided upon. At this moment, among all the candidates, I’m the most experienced and prepared, but I also have vigor for the community that I’ve lived in from childhood to adulthood. State representatives must be willing to travel the community and travel to Springfield. I’m familiar with getting things done in Springfield and understand how those things connect to the community. I understand legislation, and I’m ready to make the tough decisions to better the city of Chicago, the state of Illinois and, quite frankly, the world, because we have a worldwide impact here in Illinois. Whether I win or lose the election, I’m going to keep a winning mentality to help any and all decision-makers of my community, as I’ve done for the last 20 years. Being a good citizen is much more important than having a title, but with the title I will execute for my community.
