Newcastle United's FA Cup clash with Manchester City date and kick-off time confirmed as FA…

**Newcastle United face Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday night with an 8pm kick-off at the Etihad Stadium, live on TNT Sports.**

This Premier League clash will be the fourth time the two sides have met this season, having already battled at St James' Park in the Premier League and then in a two-legged Carabao Cup semi-final tie.

The football Gods aren't done with us yet, though, as we also drew Manchester City in the FA Cup fifth round, fortunately this one is to be played at St James' Park.

The FA has released the confirmed dates and times for the fifth-round games this afternoon and we've been given the death slot yet again.

Newcastle and Man City will face off at 8pm on a Saturday again next month

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

We can't be the only ones who hate this new 8pm Saturday slot that the TV bosses have created, and Newcastle, after Saturday, will have played in this awful slot twice already this season, and we're set to do it all again with the FA Cup tie also being set for the nighttime kick-off on Saturday.

**Newcastle United v Manchester City - FA Cup fifth round - Saturday 7th March - 8pm live on TNT Sports & Discovery+**

Every game of the round will be shown by TNT Sports, so they have tried to space them all out over the weekend, which has left us with the awful late kick-off.

Conspiracy Theorists are loving these cup draws

-----------------------------------------------

The two sides have now been drawn together in cup competitions in five of the last six seasons, which has the conspiracy theorists' heads spinning.

We're just going with being unlucky, but our tin foil hats are twitching around us, being handed the late kick-off again. Why us? What have we done to deserve this cruel and unusual punishment?

We'll see how we get on with this one on Saturday before we start crying too much about it. (Too late?)
