In a surprising turn of events, 105.7 The Fan has removed one of its longtime hosts.
With the 2025 NFL season in the books, Jason La Canfora has been removed from "Inside Access," which airs weekdays from 2-6 p.m. ET. This news came as a surprise considering La Canfora has been co-hosting the show since 2020. What makes this situation even more bizarre is the fact that he appeared on Wednesday's show.
The Baltimore Banner revealed that La Canfora's name has been removed from the Apple Podcasts page for "Inside Access." His former co-hosts, Ken Weinman and Tim Barbalace, are still part of the show though.
Weinman actually commented on La Canfora's sudden exit during Thursday's show.
"He is no longer with Audacy, but ‘Inside Access' will continue," Weinman said. "We wish Jason the very best, but hopefully you will continue to listen."
What does La Canfora have to say?
La Canfora spoke to Barrett Media about 105.7 The Fan's decision to part ways with him. It sure sounds like he didn't see this move coming.
"There were no specifics given. My program director had just held a meeting with us on Friday to talk about being number one in all the weeklies for February," La Canfora told Barrett Media. "We had the the best YouTube numbers at the station. They wanted to make sure I could make events they had coming up. All the station manager would say was that they were going in a different direction."
Hopefully, La Canfora lands on his feet awfully soon.
