Shedeur Sanders’ Teammate Quinshon Judkins: “He’s Fun to Be Around” as Browns QB Prepares for Year 2
Speaking exclusively to The Arena: Gridiron, Judkins opened up about his growing chemistry with Sanders, the former Colorado Buffaloes star who arrived in Cleveland as a rookie alongside him last season. The two quickly bonded both on and off the field, and Judkins says that connection has only strengthened heading into their second NFL year together:
“It’s fun,” Judkins said. “Shedeur is a great talent and has a good personality. He’s fun to be around. Me and him are very attentive to detail in practice. We spend a lot of time outside the building. Me and him are cool.”
The comments come at a pivotal time for Sanders, who has not yet been officially named the Browns’ starting quarterback for the 2026 season.
Building Chemistry On and Off the Field
Judkins and Sanders were rookies together in 2025, with Sanders entering with high expectations and Judkins bringing his explosive rushing ability from Ohio State. The pair spent significant time together during their first NFL offseason and season, developing a strong rapport that has carried over into 2026 preparations.
Their off-field time together—whether film study, workouts, or casual hangouts—has helped build trust that Judkins believes will translate to on-field success.

While head coach Kevin Stefanski and the front office have not yet declared Sanders the Week 1 starter, Judkins’ public support signals growing confidence in the young QB from key offensive pieces. The Browns finished the 2025 season with a middling record but showed flashes of potential, especially in the run game with Judkins. Adding a consistent passing attack led by Sanders could elevate the offense in 2026.
