Arsenal target Julian Alvarez is reportedly set to join FC Barcelona after the World Cup this summer.
The 26-year-old is expected to leave Atletico Madrid at the end of the season, with multiple European clubs linked with a potential move.
Recent reports have suggested that Arsenal are among the clubs keen on signing Alvarez, alongside Chelsea and Barcelona.
Spanish outlet SPORT reported earlier this week that Alvarez prefers a summer move to Barcelona. Now, that scenario could become reality.
According to Argentine journalist Hugo Balassone, Julian Alvarez is set to join Barcelona after the World Cup concludes this summer, in a deal worth around €70m.

There was interest from Arsenal in Alvarez, but it now appears he is heading to Hansi Flick’s side — if the latest reports prove accurate.
