ESPN analyst thinks Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa decision has already been made

The Miami Dolphins are going to go through a full-blown rebuild in 2026, and the franchise is already in the process of moving on from star players.

Tyreek Hill was the first, and we expect many others to follow. But the big domino is Tua Tagovailoa.

With the quarterback's huge contract still holding down the franchise, some think a move is inevitable, given he was benched for Quinn Ewers last season under Mike McDaniel.

And for ESPN's Tim Hasselbeck, he thinks Miami has already made up its mind on Tua.

"I think the decisions been made on him in Miami," Hasselbeck said on GetUp. "They're either going to cut him and eat the entire dead cap money, it's a reset in Miami."

Where is Tua's next stop?

That's the big question.

It is highly doubtful that a team will trade for Tua now, with most knowing the Dolphins are likely to cut him, but who could do with his services?

The New York Jets? The Arizona Cardinals have their own quarterback issue. The Minnesota Vikings as backup for JJ McCarthy?

I'm not sure the market for Tua will be all that strong, and as far as his cost, a one-year prove-it deal could be forthcoming.

It's a clear-out in Miami, and Tua is the big-ticket item expected to be moved on.
