Staff at James McConnell Memorial Library used their break to watch the women’s hockey gold medal game between Canada and the United States at the Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina, Italy, on Thursday. The United States won the game 2-1 in overtime. The Sydney library has been offering free screenings of Olympic competition since the event began earlier this month. Upcoming event screenings will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m., for freestyle skiing and March 14 at 12 p.m., for para hockey and wheelchair curling.
