Latest huge update on Stephen Curry injury revealed

Curry (knee) will be re-evaluated in 10 days.

The Golden State Warriors have placed a new timetable for Stephen Curry.

Golden State Warriors / Schedule

Sources told Shams Charania and Anthony Slater of ESPN that the Warriors will re-evaluate Curry after the next 10 days in his ongoing knee injury recovery.

He is estimated to miss at least the next five games following the team's upcoming Thursday clash against the Boston Celtics.

As revealed by Charania, there is no structural damage for Curry as he continues his rehabilitation from a "runner's knee" condition. Yet, the superstar guard is still experiencing swelling in his knee.

Curry has missed the last five games for the Dubs after sustaining the injury in late January. Without its franchise centerpiece, Golden State went 2-3.

Once again, the Warriors will lean on the rest of their group to maintain their competitive standing in the wake of Curry's extended absence. Pat Spencer, Brandin Podziemski and Gary Payton II are all expected to shoulder the team's ball-handling duties.

Currently eighth in the West with a 29-26 record, the Dubs will play the Nuggets, Pelicans, Grizzlies, Lakers and the Clippers in the next five games after the forthcoming Celtics showcase.
