New England Patriots legend Tom Brady knows a thing or two about winning, so it was fitting that he was in the stands cheering on Team USA in the gold medal women’s hockey match against Team Canada.
And with that, he got to see an incredible game at the Milano Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena in Milan, in which Hilary Knight tied the game up in the third quarter, forcing overtime. And then, it was Megan Keller who heroically scored the game-winning goal.

“Cheering on the incredible talent in the Women’s Hockey Gold Medal Game with some friends who know a thing or two about sports,” she captioned the post.

Brady has delivered many miraculous victories during his time in Boston (or Foxborough to be more specific), and on Thursday he got to see another local athlete due to the same.
Megan Keller, who score the overtime goal, is the captain of the Boston Fleet, and actually played college hockey for the Boston College Eagles from 2014 to 2019. Oh, and it’s worth mentioning that Hilary Knight, who netted the game-tying goal to send the game to overtime, using to be a member of the Boston Fleet before signing with the Seattle Torrent in June 2025.
But, for Keller’s goal, it was her impressive move en-route to the goal that truly had everyone talking.
