FORMER STEELERS OL’S NEW BUSINESS
Mike Adams is a former NFL offensive lineman whom the Steelers drafted in the second round in 2012. Unfortunately, Adams didn’t pan out, and after a one-year stint with the Chicago Bears in 2016, his NFL career was over. However, he’s found a new passion in his post-NFL life.
Youngstown Studio recently posted a YouTube video where Adams gave a tour of his yoga studio. He explains what got him into the exercise and why he feels like it’s so important. While some players might struggle to find their purpose after football, Adams seems to be doing well for himself.
PITT PUNTER LIKES STEELERS
The Steelers have seen less success than they’re used to in recent years, with their last playoff win coming in the 2016 season. However, that doesn’t diminish their history of success. They’re tied for the most Super Bowl victories by an NFL franchise. Also, they haven’t had a losing season since 2003. Because of that, they have numerous fans.
That includes University of Pittsburgh punter Gabe Russo, as he explains in a YouTube video posted by Inside the Panthers. Russo is from Alabama, and he just transferred to Pitt. Previously, he was at Idaho State and Auburn. While it might seem odd that Russo is a Steelers fan, he revealed that his grandfather was from Pittsburgh. That’s an origin story likely shared by many Steelers fans.
KEISEL ON WAGNER
The 1970s Steelers won four Super Bowls, creating a dynasty. They were most known for their ferocious defense, which earned the Steel Curtain nickname. Several Hall of Famers played on that squad, including Joe Greene, Mel Blount, and Jack Lambert. Safety Mike Wagner was one of the more underrated pieces of that team, but unfortunately, he recently passed away.
Former Steelers defensive lineman Brett Keisel took to X to say some nice words about Wagner. While the two of them didn’t play at the same time, they were still both Steelers defenders. Keisel, like Wagner, wasn’t the most accomplished member of his squad. However, both of them were key parts of championship victories.
