POSTGAME 10
The Philadelphia 76ers dropped their third straight game, this one a 117-107 defeat to the Atlanta Hawks in their first game back after the All-Star break. The Sixers shot just 38% from the field in the loss, which dropped them to 30-25 on the season.
The Hawks were led by All-Star forward Jalen Johnson, who finished with 32 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Tyrese Maxey led the Sixers with 27 points on 8-23 shooting, with VJ Edgecombe (20), Kelly Oubre Jr (17) and Quentin Grimes (14) chipping in as well.
The Sixers will hopefully get Joel Embiid back at some point during this weekend’s back-to-back, as Embiid missed the game with soreness in his shins.
