Without their All-Star guard, the Suns did not have nearly enough to keep up with the surging San Antonio Spurs, who won their seventh consecutive game thanks to an all-around team performance.
Green one of just a few bright spots for the Suns, as he finished with a game-high 26 points (on 11-of-23 shooting) in his first start since November.
Mark Williams scored 11 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in 27 minutes, but it was no match for the 17 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks from Victor Wembanyama.
